HARLEY SMITH was born and raised in Humboldt
County and has spent all of his adult life working in the housing
industry. Prior to obtaining his Real Estate Salesperson license
in 1980, he worked in the construction industry for four years.
After working for three years as a property manager, he obtained
his Brokers license and started Professional Property Management
Company in 1983. As a result of focusing on only property management
and leasing, the business has grown to over 800 units under management.
Professional Organization Designations Harley is a member of the California Association
of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Harley has
a lifetime teaching credential in Real Estate. He has taught the
Property Management course at College of the Redwoods for over ten
years. He has also taught Real Estate Investment Analysis and Escrow
courses. He has earned his Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation
and has served on numerous committees with the Humboldt Association
of Realtors.
Community Service Harley has been a member of the Rotary Club of
Eureka for over fifteen years. He has served on community task forces
and other civic organizations.
SHEILA BEARDEN has been a Real Estate licensee
since November 1989. She has worked in the management field for
twenty years. She manages client and tenant relations, oversees
office administration and handles Unlawful Detainers.
Professional Organization Designations Sheila is a member of the California Association
of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She has served
on numerous committees with the Humboldt Association of Realtors.
Community Service Sheila is active in our community by volunteering
time to help prepare Adult Education students for employment interviews.
She has been a speaker at seminars for local youth to help them
secure their first apartment and understand tenant/landlord responsibilities.
Sheila is an active member and officer of Soroptimist International
of Humboldt Bay. She volunteers for the Dixieland Jazz Festival,
highway clean up, projects benefiting the Safe Haven Woman's Shelter,
and programs of action awareness and advocacy.
